Verizon launches Samsung Intensity III for $80
Verizon Wireless and Samsung America have officially announced the recently leaked Intensity III feature phone. Targeted at avid texters and social networking users, the Intensity III features a horizontal sliding QWERTY keyboard along with “enhanced” social networking capabilities that makes updating feeds on Facebook and Twitter quick and easy.
The phone adheres to 810F military specifications that can withstand shock, low pressure, extreme temperatures, solar radiation, dust etc. and is eco-friendly with the device created from 80 percent post-consumer materials and comes loaded with an eco-calculator for users to track their own carbon footprint.
As for the rest of features, it has a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 2MP camera, Fake Call support, Bluetooth, microSD card slot, VZ Navigator and more.
The Intensity III is available on Verizon’s online store from today for $ 80 after $ 50 mail-in rebate and 2-year contract.
