Even though Google+ got the most notable update earlier this afternoon, there’s three other nice tiny updates to apps this evenings. Most notably, Instapaper has been updated to version four.2, which adds an iBook style “pagination” feature. Other crucial characteristics include:

  • All-new Fast Pagination mode, a full rewrite from the old pagination code that drastically improves accuracy and page-turn speed
  • New draggable dot bar to replace the scroll bar in pagination mode
  • New two-finger-swipe gesture to close an article
  • Full-screen now has “Auto” mode to switch to complete screen immediately after a handful of seconds
  • The subtle Twilight Sepia color tint can now be chosen at any time
  • Added sharing to Drafts and the upcoming Quotebook 2.
  • Several bugfixes and efficiency improvements

Furthermore, community driven organization evaluations app Yelp has been updated to version five.8., most notably adding the capability to comment on your friends’ checkins. Other attributes:
