UK operator Three has confirmed that it will be selling the Sony Xperia U on each contract and Spend as You Go.
Unveiled in February at Mobile Globe Congress, the telephone characteristics a three.five-inch FWVGA Reality Display touchscreen, 1GHz dual-core processor and five-megapixel camera with 720 HD recording.
The specs would recommend the phone will be available at a mid-tier price tag point. We say “suggest” as 3 is not prepared to reveal pricing or availability specifics at present.
The third and smallest of the Sony Xperia phones to be unveiled at MWC (the Xperia P and Xperia S getting the other two), the base of the Sony Xperia U will change colour matching the main shade that occurs to be on the screen. Extremely retro.
Orange has currently stated that they will also be selling an exclusive white version of the Sony Xperia U prior to the end of June.
The phone is expected to launch on Android two.three, even though an upgrade to Ice Cream sandwich (Android 4.) will soon comply with.
