Sony unveils Xperia SL smartphone with an updated a1.7 GHz dual-core processor

And as the world eagerly awaits the dawn of the next generation iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy Note II, Sony has quietly pulled the veil off its newest brainchild and successor to the Xperia S. christened the Xperia SL, this updated version of the smartphone comes with a1.7 GHz dual-core processor is crafted pretty much the same as its predecessor. Packing the same 12.1 megapixel camera, the phone was unveiled to make up for the processor shortcomings of the Xperia S and still doesn’t fail to disappoint. Running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the phone currently sports the “Coming Soon” tag on Sony’s website and the manufacturer has released no carrier or pricing details as of now. Also, the Xperia SL will be made available in a host of colors including silver, black, white and pink and we sincerely wouldn’t mind a few additional hardware and software updates with this one.
