Angry Birds Perfume Set (Smells like Slingshots?)

angry birds perfume Angry Birds Perfume Set (Smells like Slingshots?)
In what strikes me as a completely unrelated marketing twist, Air Val International is creating gift sets of perfumes based on the Angry Birds video games. The travel sized Angry Birds miniatures set has four 5ml perfumes in the shape of the Red Bird, Yellow Bird, Black Bird and King Pig. “Wow, you smell great, what are you wearing?” “King Pig”. Hopefully it smells better than it sounds. Several other gift sets will also be produced with individual 50ml bottles and matching accessories. Great for the gamer gal, I guess.

March 17th, 2013
by: Conner Flynn

We’ve been having fun with the viral marketing campaign that Nabisco has going right now and have seen all kinds of ways to separate the Oreo cream from its cookies. But the one thing we haven’t seen is a gun that can accomplish this important first-world task. Well, get ready to see the Oreo-separating shotgun.

This creation comes from Joerg Sprave who you will know from The Slingshot Channel on Youtube. He knows his stuff when it comes to weapon building, and has built an impressive gun to separate the Oreo cookies from the cream. A pump-action Oreo shooter. Just load some Oreos in the top and they fire from the bottom muzzle section.

Apple has the leading smartphone operating system in the United States according to new data released today, but the same sales charts show that Google is taking a bite of Apple’s pie throughout Europe.

"Apple has reached a major milestone in the U.S. by passing the 50% share mark for the first time," said Dominic Sunnebo, global consumer insight director at Kantar Worldpanel ComTech.

His report cites the iPhone 5 launch as a boost to the company’s improved marketshare, lifting Apple to 53.3 percent of sales this year from 3.58 percent last year.

Rovio’s Angry Birds soda takes Finland by storm, beats out Coke and Pepsi

Rovio’s Angry Birds soda takes Finland by storm, beats out Coke and Pepsi

Rovio’s Angry Birds franchise has become the toast of Finland, replacing the troubled Nokia (NOK) as the company’s most distinguished brand. With this in mind, it’s not surprising that the Fins have a great deal of pride in their world-famous gaming company, so much so that they’ll even drink Angry Birds-branded soda. The Next Web reports that Rovio’s Angry Birds-branded soda “is said to be outselling Coke and Pepsi in Finland” and will soon hit the shelves in both New Zealand and Australia as well. Does the soda actually taste good? Who knows. But we do know that if it doesn’t, the cans will be super-fun to put in slingshots and launch at neighbors’ houses on Halloween.
