Some men and women do yoga, other people meditate or construct Lego sets. Humans have many distinct methods to unwind. Here’s a new way to get in your zen location – Listening to ten hours of Darth Vader’s breathing.
Oddly enough, it appears quite relaxing. Sounds like Vader sleeping genuinely. If the Lord of the Sith had a wife, this is what she would hear all night, sleeping beside him. So, if you locate yourself wound up also tight and stressing out, close your eyes and listen to this ten hour video. Take some deep even breaths. It will calm you proper down.
Behold, a LEGO Raptor Flying in a LEGO Raptor

Yo dawg, I herd you like Raptors, so I put a LEGO Raptor in yo LEGO Raptor, so you can fly prehistoric-style while you fly. That’s what Jack Marquez, who goes by “Ewok in Disguise” on Flickr thought a lot about that when he was constructing his little F-22 Raptor fighter jet out of LEGO blocks.
The LEGO airplane model is cool on its own, but the coolest thing about little Raptor model is that the pilot is actually a velociraptor. The LEGO plane reminds me a lot of caricature of a real jet with its somewhat bulbous proportions, but I still really like it. I know that if this was around my house, the kids would crash it repeatedly in some sort of horrendous flying accident.

Lego Minecraft Sets Unveiled, Blocky Goodness Ready For Summer Launch

Each Lego and Minecraft are held in high esteem in the minds of geeks worldwide. Both are in the business of constructing blocky worlds, one with plastic cubes and the other with digital ones. And a whilst ago it was announced that the two businesses would be partnering to turn some of the Minecraft planet into actual, tangible Lego pieces. Well these days brings photographs of what that kit will look like, and it is just as blocky as you’d picture. You get 480 pieces that “include 4 LEGO Minecraft modules, hidden resources, extra pieces for wood, dirt, and stone, two “Micro Mobs” Steve and a creeper.” Currently on pre-order at J!NX for $ 35, the LEGO® Minecraft™ Micro Planet kit will be readily available this summer.

Ghost in the Shell Gets LEGO-fied

You may recall that last week I ran across a cool LEGO creation that was excellent for my little girl. It was pink and utilized the girl-focused LEGO Close friends sets to make a cool mech. Here’s an additional LEGO creation employing a single of those Buddies figures – this time to recreate Significant Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell, along with a Believe Tank – created from standard LEGO bits.
Built by Cole Blaq, the Believe Tank is as close of a reproduction as you can get utilizing off-the-shelf LEGO parts, though 1 noticeable distinction is that the parts utilized in the LEGO version are gray rather than tan. The Pals figure has a custom silver and black paint job, but I’m asking yourself why she doesn’t have purple hair.

Back To The Future II Downtown Recreated In LEGO

This is a series of LEGO playsets designed by LEGOManiac Alex Jones (aka Flickr user Orion Pax) of the a variety of downtown buildings featured in Back To The Future II. They even all connect with the pond in the middle that Marty gets stuck more than on his hoverboard. “Hey McFly, you bojo — those boards don’t function on water!” But seriously, that was fairly stupid of McFly thinking his board would work on water. It is not a f***ing Jetski, dummy.

LEGO Releases Official LOTR Minifig Images, LEGO Gollum is Precious

We told you the other day about some upcoming LEGO Lord of the Rings minifigs and playsets on the way, and now we have some official pictures of the total minifig collection, courtesy of the fine people at LEGO (following a bit of Photoshop slicing-and-dicing to fit them all here.)
We already got to see some close up pics last time of Frodo, Legolas and Aragorn, but every person else was fairly hard to make out. Now we get to see the complete collection, and they appear pretty amazing. I especially adore the Ringwraith – just give him a lightsaber and a face, and he’s Darth Vader. Those orcs are pretty cool too.

LOTR LEGO Minifigs Inbound, Playsets Hopefully Not Far Behind

Final spring we talked about a giant LEGO recreation of the Garrison of Moria from The Lord of the Rings. The only factor missing from the setting was official LOTR minifigs. Now it looks like these missing characters are coming soon according to a pic that has surfaced.
Apparently, a guy from the LEGO site Brickset was at the 2012 UK Toy Fair and whilst he couldn’t get pics inside the booth to share, he was in a position to shoot a pic of a photo on the side of the booth showing off the new LOTR minifigs. The photo clearly shows that the complete fellowship of the rings is coming in Minifig form.
