Logitech K310 Washable Keyboard solves the biggest first world problem of them all

As I type this, I’m looking down (because I still can’t really touch type) at a keyboard covered in what can only be described as ‘coffee muck’. At least I think it’s coffee. Either way, cleaning it is a pretty annoying job, since water and electronics aren’t friends.
If only there was a keyboard that didn’t mind a good scrubbing…
Logitech’s just answered the prayers of anyone with the kind of fingers that like to smear in a bit of typing grime. The K310 Washable Keyboard is exactly what you think it is: a white-keyed typer that’s able to withstand a dunking of up to 30cm.

The K310 is wired, so you’ll need to keep the USB end out of the sink, but that’s a small price to pay for the ability to remove all your tapping stains without worry. What’s more, Logitech’s guaranteeing the life of the thing for some five million keystrokes. You know, for those of you who like to count that sort of thing.
It’s landing in the US soon for $ 40, but won’t make it onto these shores before October.
