Chopper 2 for iPad Will Launch in Just a Few Days!

Following the tremendous success with its initial Chopper app release, Majic Jungle Software is bringing you the much-awaited sequel called Chopper 2. Chopper 2 will be coming to you as a universal app with some new great features.

Chopper 2 will feature 36 action packed missions over 12 unique locations. It will hit the App Store with a completely re-written 3D game engine, all new enemies, weapons, graphics, and missions, while still retaining the classic side scrolling game-play.

The game’s objective is very simple, but yet a lot of fun. Escort a convoy of vehicles across the desert, or defend a train from enemies emerging from underground mines. Use your laser sight to line up enemies emerging from stairwells in the city.

Get ready to chase down lines of enemy tanks and choppers while avoiding heat seeking missiles, gunfire and bird strike. Help your allies defend against advancing armies, and rescue stranded civilians, all while trying to complete your mission as fast as possible.

This game comes with exciting HD graphics for both the iPad and iPhone4. The game will use the gyroscope where it can for increased control, OpenAL for spatial sound effects and even features an amazing 17 minute long original soundtrack. It will also support OpenFeint leaderboards and achievements.

Finally, all iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch owners out there are in for a special treat. If you have both an iPad and an iPhone/iPod Touch, you can use the remote control feature to wirelessly control the iPad over bluetooth. In addition, you can plug your iPad into a TV or display through the component cable or VGA adapter and experience the air assault with Chopper 2 on your TV.

Game Availability: From what we’ve heard, the Chopper 2 universal app has been approved by Apple, and its release is targeted for July 27th. Stay tuned!
