FaceTime on the Next-Gen iPad, Really?
Since the iPad’s launch back in April, a camera has been one of the most requested features by many. But, we haven’t seen any hints by Apple that lead us to believe they will indeed release a new iPad with a camera in the near future. We’ve only heard general rumors. During Apple’s Media event this past week, many speculated that the e-mail-based FaceTime feature revealed on the new iPod Touch would also make it into a newer version of the iPad. After Steve Jobs unveiled the HDR photography feature coming to the iPad (on iOS 4.2), many folks speculated again about a camera coming to the iPad’s nex-gen model. Now there is a new rumor about Apple already testing a front camera with a future model of the iPad. The blog 9 to 5 Mac released a blurry photo that supposedly shows a next-gen iPad equipped with a camera to test video calls. To be honest, it’s very hard to tell if indeed this is an iPad testing video calls. It seems that new rumors just started again as we move closer to the holiday season. Hard to tell if this is true or not. But, one thing is for sure, iPad competitors are coming in a few months, and several have talked about launching their tablets with a camera. What do you think? Verizon HTC Android device, EVO Killer With Keyboard?
Spotted over at the FCC was this large HTC handset wearing Verizon’s wedding ring. We do not know if this is a Droid phone but by the looks of things, this could be called the Droid King. Looks as though the phone is sporting a 4 inch display with a slide out keyboard, dressed in that all to famous Verizon red. Rumor has it that this will have one of the fastest processors in it that we have seen in a Google ran device, and there has been no word of pricing or availability. LG Optimus Pad Tablet PC
LG Optimus Pad a new Tablet PC just comes in news. It seems that the device is ready to make its debut. LG seems to have a very sinuous design (probably the back). Speculation speak of Optimus Pad with Android 2.2 Froya and maybe a processor Tegra2. If the price was really competitive to fare could go where the Galaxy Tab has left a bitter taste for the cost too high.
