A lot of deaf people learn to read lips, but that’s got to be a tough learning curve, with inexact results at best. Wouldn’t if be great if you could simply give the hearing impaired a written transcript of what you’re saying in real time?

Mexican carrier claims new iPhone 4 for October
iPhone 4b according to Telcel’s Director of Value Added Services Apple could still be planning a hardware replacement program for the iPhone 4 ?according to new rumours that have surfaced in Mexico.? At the Q&A of the Apple Antennagate ?press conference, Steve Jobs detailed how the company would be giving away a free bumper to everyone that has bought or buys an iPhone 4, up until 30 September, and that when questioned later said that Apple would “re-examine this in September and decide whether to keep going, or maybe we will have a better idea” Well fast forward a couple of months and CanalMX, a Mexican based tech site, is quoting an executive at Mexican carrier Telcel as telling them that Apple will release a revised version of the iPhone 4 by the end of September to address the highly-publicized antenna issue. According to Marco Quatorze, Telcel’s Director of Value Added Services, through the wonders of Google Translation, the iPhone 4 sold currently in Mexico will at first be the same hardware as that sold in the US as you would expect, however Quatorze then, according to the site, detailed that a new device that does not have the “malfunction of the reception” would be introduced. Whether or not Quatorze would be privy to such information is unsure, or it might be that Google’s translation tool has led to an misunderstanding of the report, however as we questioned back at the Antennagate press conference, you have to wonder why the 30 September date as been set and why Steve Jobs, the company’s CEO, was so evasive in answering the question at the time. And you thought those Apple Antennagate stories where over and done with. Where do you have all of your lamps? Above? To the side? All around? How about you get some lamps that sit on the ground and some other lamps that sit above your head? How about a collection of lamps that works in basically any position? Take a look at this “7/7 Lights” lamp collection by Albertine van Iterson. Each lamp is made out of its own materials, has its own identity, and require slightly different treatments. Yet at the same time, they’re all part of the same family.
How you interact with this set of lamps is entirely up to you. Get a bunch of the wood ones and let them all fly above your head. Get a few metal lamps and lie them around your lovely wood-floored no-cat apartment. Or get them all, all the different sorts of lamps in the 7/7 Lights series, place them all around your huge house!

VIDEO: LG E900 with snappy 1.3GHz chip inside
WP7 videos emerge The LG E900 Windows Phone 7 device has been spotted out and about again, and this time we’re lucky that the blu-lens had been taken off of the camera grabbing the footage. As well as the videos, Engadget is also reporting that the E900 will be extra-nippy due to its 1.3GHz Qualcomm QSD8650A system-on-chip meaning it should have no trouble with both 2D and 3D graphic acceleration. The report also suggests GPS and HD video recording will be on board and there’s also news that there are light and proximity sensors, as well as a mini-USB port. The LG E900 looks a bit like the LG C900 , which we’ve reported on before, but is much thinner due to the omission of a keyboard.? We’re hoping for a Europe-wide launch sometime in October.
