Well, the world’s attention is well and truly focused on the Town Hall theatre, 4 Infinite Loop, part of the huge Apple HQ in Cupertino.
Steve Jobs has emerged and he has stated that it is going to a brief, 15 minute presentation.
And the initial news is that Apple is seemingly prepared to admit that Apple, and in particular, the iPhone 4 isn’t perfect.
Jobs said:
“You know, we’re not perfect. And phones aren’t perfect either. But we want to make all of our users happy. And if you don’t know that about Apple, you don’t know Apple.

Wallport iPad Wall Mount – Accessory Review
The iPad may be a great device, its larger size also makes it somewhat cumbersome in many situations. For example, if you use apps like Epicurious or Weber to cook, having your iPad close to your ingredients and/or close to an open flame is a big no-go – even if you use a quick fix like a zip top bag (see here), there is no elegant solution to keep your iPad secured and protected from spills and heat sources. Same goes for the office, as having your iPad lying on your desk while you work is not exactly optimum. Finally, if you happen to watch movies or shows via your iPad, holding it for an extended period of time quickly gets annoying.
To solve this problem, the folks at TabletWallPort.com came up with the Wallport, an aluminum wall mount for your iPad that can be mounted flat on any wall, or even to a VESA mount. The Wallport cradles your iPad without the use of clips or straps, all you need to do is to install it on a wall, and slide your iPad in the mount.
The installation of the Wallport takes about 15 minutes, all you need to do is to pick the location for the mount, drill 4 holes in your wall, and secure it with the screws supplied with the installation kit.
Given the fact that the Wallport is made from heavy duty aluminum, there is a potential risk to scratch the back and/or the front of your iPad. No need to panic though, as the installation kit also comes with protective pads that prevent any metal-to-metal or metal-to-screen contact.

LG: ‘Apple may have to delay launches of the iPad for some countries’
We’re not certain how many screen suppliers Apple has at this point, but LG is certainly a major player, so our ears tend to perk up when the Korean manufacturer admits it can’t stay ahead of the game. LG CEO Kwon Young-Soo told reporters the firm just can’t keep up with incredible demand for the iPad’s brilliant 9.7-inch IPS display, and suggested that Cupertino might actually have to slow international expansion as a direct result. “Apple may have to delay launches of the iPad for some countries due to tight component supplies and strong demand,” he said, adding that even if the firm were to increase production capacity, supplies would remain tight through early 2011. Residents of Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore and The Netherlands came in under the wire, but it sounds like there may be another wait for the rest of the world.

Modified Egg Timer takes panoramas effortlessly
This is probably the strangest looking camera accessory out there, but I swear it is actually a legitimate accessory. It looks like something someone rigged up in their basement, but as long as it works it really doesn’t matter. This strange little egg allows for you to record a full 360 degree view all with your very own camera. It won’t have any unsteady movements either thanks to the tripod that’s necessary to make this egg work properly.
Just set up the Camalapse in between your camera and the tripod. Then you twist the egg around just like you would an egg timer. It can take 360 degree footage over the course of an hour. The stand is a little touchy about which cameras it can operate with, since it relies upon the camera to be completely balanced in order to function properly. Spinning Tow Ball for water sports lovers
