Samsung Galaxy S2 i9200 features 2GHz, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Display and More
Samsung Galaxy S2 i9200. Long name, right? Well, apparently this big guy is the successor of the Samsung Galaxy S, and it’s all set to be released in early 2011. The Galaxy S2 will have a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with approximately 340 pixels per inch. Also, there will be a 2GHz CPU paired with 1GB of RAM and a 4GB ROM, together with 32GB of flash storage and a microSD card slot. It’s also going to have an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p full HD video recording. If that’s not enough to make the cake enticing, it will also carry Android 3.0 at launch. Its also got Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi b/g/n, GPS, a gryoscope, an accelerometer, proximity and ambient light sensors thrown in for good measure. So while everyone’s excited to get their hands on the Galaxy S in its current iteration, at least you’ve got something to look forward to when you drop your hard-earned money down now, right? Sure, it’s all rumor right now, but it sure does look like this is where the market’s going, doesn’t it? [ via SlashGear] ) View full post on Android Community
Brain Challenge HD on Sale – Train your Brain for 99¢
Looking for something a bit more challenging than your average beat’em up? Search no more, as Gameloft recently ported its iPhone hit “Brain Challenge” to the iPad.
Brain Challenge HD is a mental exercise video game featuring brain exercise puzzles, and is very similar to the hits “Big Brain Academy” and “Brain Age”. The game offers multiple puzzles, divided into four separate categories: Focus / Logic / Math / Visual. Each category offers its own suite of puzzles: for instance, Balance shows different objects on scales, and the player must determine from the relationships on the scales which is the heaviest object.
At first, the game looks simple, but the more you progress, the more challenging the puzzles become. Beware, Brain Challenge HD is an addictive game, and some puzzles will simply drive you nuts!
Brain Challenge HD is currently on sale for 99 cents, for a limited time (more screenshots below the fold).

Japan Now Has Banana Vending Machines

By Andrew Liszewski
While North Americans rely on vending machines mostly for beverage distribution, in Japan it seems you can get almost anything from them, including fresh bananas now thanks to Dole’s new machine which is installed in an underground connection at the Shibuya subway station. Apparently the vending machine sold out on its first day, which is kind of vital since once those bananas start to brown I don’t think anyone will be that interested in opting for the healthy snack option. Particularly when a single banana is about $1.50 (130 yen) and a bunch of five or six is almost $4.50. (390 yen)

Kitchen Scale Wall Clock

This wall clock may appear to be nothing more than a very retro looking wall clock that attempts to mimic the look of a record. In reality this kitchen clock does double duty. As well as letting you know the time, this thing also can weigh things while you’re cooking in the kitchen. That way you have it handy for those particular recipes that give weights instead of cups or numbers of items.
Sure, it’s more accurate to have someone measure by weight, but I always hate cluttering up my cabinets with one more kitchen gadget. Thankfully this can hang on the wall, keeping you from going on gadget overload when it comes to the kitchen. You can purchase the scale for £23.99 or about $36 through LazyBone UK.

Google adds ‘Blogger Stats’ in Blogger in Draft to Track Website and Visitor Data
You have heard of blogger.com, that’s for sure. It’s very possible that you have either used it or are still using it, like most of us, who, thanks to blogger, have their first website adventures with blogspot.com. While it’s free from Google — well, this is what that encourages us more than anything else to choose blogger over other mortal service providers — it falls short when it come to features available.
You really don’t get a whole lot of customization and tools available with your blogspot.com. While it’s menacingly painful to be not able to have a lot of choice in theme selection and widget customizations, Non-availability of a tool to track the website data including visitor data has remained a popular topic for public outcry for blogger.

Well, Google’s been listening — as always — and has come up with a new tool dedicated to track website data for your blogspot.com adventure. Known as Blogger Stats, this tool is available in ‘Blogger in Drafts’. You don’t need to put in a code or anything to get this feature running, it just works by default. Head towards the Blogger in Draft and locate the Stats tab. Hit it and get all data that you wanted, in the easiest manner. Need we remind you, the ‘Blogger in Draft’ needs to be activated specifically to enjoy all great utilities it offers. BTW, Blogger Stats is not available to private blogs, as of now. With this, we are keeping our fingers crossed to see more freedom with themes too.
For those of you who were worried about its ability, Google has said that Stats will show near real-time data. Like, if a post gets hit and gets many retweets on twitter, then Blogger Stats will show your post with the twitter link with high point on the graph, in a real time. Moreover, you can find those posts easily that are getting more visits as also the sites that are directing traffic to your website.
Add The Sand-Printer To Your ‘Things I’d Like To Have While Stranded On A Deserted Island’ List

By Andrew Liszewski
While it’s not the easiest thing to pack, the Sand-Printer could be an essential tool to bring along on your next trip should you somehow end up stranded on a deserted island. Instead of spelling out messages like ‘HELP’ or ‘NEED RESCUE’ or even ‘WOW! THIS MYSTERIOUS ISLAND SHOULD PROVIDE SIX SEASONS OF CONFUSION’ with rocks and branches, you can simply roll along the beach like a giant hamster in a giant wheel, leaving behind your message for rescue planes to read. Created by Spanish design consultancy Zanadesign (who should have their flash license revoked) the Sand-Printer is also supposed to re-educate the people of Spain, at least those on the beach, about the importance of the country’s Constitution of 1812.

Voltron Nekobot Flash Drive Proves Capacity Isn’t Everything

By Andrew Liszewski
What’s the first thing you do when someone gives you a promotional run-of-the-mill flash drive? You check the capacity to see if it’s big enough to be a keeper, or a future giveaway. But this Voltron Nekobot flash drive from INCUBOT Productions could be packing a measly 32MB and I’d still carry it everywhere. Thankfully it packs a usable, though not overly impressive, 2GB of storage which is accessible once Voltron’s been split apart at the waist. Pricing and availability haven’t been announced yet, but a limited edition ThinkGeek-only Nekobot flash drive currently sells there for $39.99.
