Motorola Droid 2 May Launch August 23rd with Android 2.2
Motorola Droid 2 will have to comes later than we expected at Verizon. Rather on July 19th, Droid 2 will be launch on August 23rd along side Android 2.2. Although, the current Droid 2 was Android 2.1 but Motorola seems trying to push Android 2.2 to make an advancement to their phone. Android 2.2 is roughly available in late July for the original Droid, and is expected to launch for the Droid X at the end of August. Motorola Droid 2 and Droid X will have almost the same hardware which is 1 GHz processor. The difference that they both will have mostly in size of the screen because Droid 2 screen is only 3.7-inch. Pre-ordered Droid Incredible? Get a Motorola Droid X instead
Verizon has comes up with great ideas which lead them to better advantage with the current situation that they are facing. Since the Droid Incredible was announced, Verizon has difficulty put up with the pre-orders. People are requesting this marvelous smartphone like crazy. However, Verizon also carried Motorola Droid X. Verizon decided to allow customers to change their order from Droid Incredible to Motorola Droid X.
Droid Incredible approximately has the same size as Nexus one. Meanwhile, Motorola Droid X features a 4.3-inch capacitive touch screen. Droid Incredible will be shipped on July 26th and Droid X will be avalaible in store July 15th.

Daily Mail fell victim to a spoof Twitter account recently where a post by ceoSteveJobs stated that the iPhone 4 was going to be recalled. The fly in the ointment was that the account profile stated it was a spoof account.
Amazon has updated the Kindle app for the iPad and iPhone with new features. Those notable new features are audio and video support that allow for extras like video tours in travel books.
Actor Jason Bateman was booed for cutting line to get his iPhone 4. The actor was escorted into the building to pick up his handset while a line of 2000 other folks waited to get theirs.

Your Personal iPad Arcade System?
The folks at Freekade have managed to build a prototype of an arcade cabinet for your iPad. Freekade is a company dedicated to build custom arcade cabinets to help bring back those old-school arcade years.
Unlike the iCade cabinet story back in April, which turned out to be an April Fool’s joke, the folks at Freekade have actually pursued this a bit more seriously.
This is not exactly a finished product yet, but rather a prototype. The current prototype is a real arcade cabinet that integrates the iPad with a set of old school controls, and let you enjoy old classics such as Mr. Do! The iPad’s long battery life will do just fine with this. Enjoy the video!
Huawei’s Android 2.2 Device Spoted in the Wild
Huawei has been planning on moving into own-brand phones, they’re trying to end the practice of making phones for different people. They want to start taking credit of its own work instead of simply making phones for others such as T-Mobile. Some of the first pictures of the Huawei Android phone have come in, bearing the label HUAWEI on the back. Engadget was able to provide some sneak peek photos of the phone. This news on the development has sparked some much needed excitement into followers of Android considering all the new glamorous smartphones due to release soon. England No. 1 Footie Fan
With England ready to face up to Germany in a short while at the World Cup, you can be sure that many Englishmen out there will claim that they are England’s No. 1 footie fan – unfortunately, their position is threatened by the real McCoy, the England No. 1 Footie Fan. This version might be pint-sized, but his merry chanting and dancing will definitely have you in stitches. Needless to say, he is wearing an England shirt and fabric jeans, where pressing his button will see him wave his scarf back and forth while shouting out one of a variety of chants. Best of all is, he won’t be arrested for acting like a hooligan just in case the German tanks steamroll over the Three Lions, for we will look towards the 5-1 victory engineered by Sven some time back as a source of inspiration.
