Motorola Milestone XT720 Coming to T-Mobile?

Awhile back there was a rumor that T-Mobile will be getting a device similar to the Droid but without the keyboard and a better camera. Well, that rumor may come true soon, the Motorola Milestone XT720 could make its way into their stores. It has T-mobile compatible 3G bands. Whether it comes to t-Mobile officially or not remains to be seen. But if you want this device and you are a T-Mobile customer, you can order it and enjoy it to the fullest because you will have full 3G (if it’s in your area). This could turn out to be a big summer for T-Mobile if this does make it into their stores with the Samsung Galaxy S. with the closing of Google’s Phone Store, the Nexus One could make its way over to Magenta as well. These 3 together could make for an impressive android lineup for T-Mobile. Don’t forget there’s still the HTC manufactured Sidekick that could be unveiled at any moment. All Phones At T-Mobile Will Be Free on June 19th?

We’ve been waiting and digging for more information on what will happen on the 19th. Most of us thought it would be the introduction of the Nexus One into stores or Android 2.2 for the Slide. Well, the promotion is indirectly Android related. The latest rumor has T-Mobile conducting a one day promotion where every phone in their inventory will be free.

Tmonews has received a leaked script of an upcoming T-Mobile commercial. This script explicitly says that all phones will be free if you switch your plan to a family plan. I would assume that if you already have a family plan, you can get this offer by adding an additional line. This has not been confirmed but it looks like pretty solid information.

So if you’re an Android fan you will be able to pick up a Garminfone, myTouch 3G Slide, Cliq or any other Android based phone for free. This will save families 100’s of dollars, hopefully another great Android device is released on that day as well.

89977736 620op Report: NUMMI workers to get $19 million in aid

When Toyota shuttered its NUMMI plant for good at the end of March, over 4,700 workers lost their jobs. The Japanese automaker softened the blow of those lost jobs by forking over $281 million in aid, or about $60,000 for every worker at the plant. Daily Markets now reports that the federal government is stepping in to add a a bit more scratch to help the NUMMI workforce find new work. The $19 million emergency fund cash infusion will be used for training and other support.

Some former NUMMI workers are hoping to again work at the Fremont, California facility if Tesla commits to making the Model S or some other electric vehicle there in the next couple years. Details have been sketchy regarding Toyota’s new relationship with Tesla, and whether the plant will be used to produce the vehicle.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Coming to the iPad Soon

gtaicon Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Coming to the iPad SoonTake-Two and Rockstar, the developers/producers behind the Grand Theft Auto series, hinted that a version of their award winning iPhone game, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, was on its way to the big screen.

The iPad version of the game is currently scheduled for release within the next three weeks, and will feature an improved gameplay, as well as updated graphics, thanks to an updated 3D engine, and the extra real estate offered by the device. Unless Take-Two botches the port, which would be very hard to believe, the game is poised to become an iPad best seller.

Will Ford’s Sync kill Sirius XM?

Filed under: Technology , Ford There are currently 19 million Sirius XM subscribers out there, and the vast majority of those cash-paying customers listen only in the car. Ford was among the earliest mass-market adopters of Sirius, as The Blue Oval made infotainment a big part of its vehicle strategy. But while Ford was an early passenger on the satellite bandwagon, another very popular technology could put the squeeze on pay-for-play radio. The Motley Fool opines that advances to Sync could hurt Sirius in a very meaningful way. Sync already connects to your MP3 player and your smart phone, but Microsoft and Ford have been working with third parties like Pandora to bring free content through the iPhone, RIM or Android data plan you’re already paying for. Beyond Internet radio, Sync also provides turn-by-turn navigation, traffic and weather, emergency assistance and Google Maps . In the end, though, The Fool is quick to remind us that Ford gets a cut from every Sirius XM subscription. That means the automaker likely will stop short of toppling over the satellite provider. Besides, Sirius subscriptions have done nothing but climb since Sync hit the market three years ago. RIM BlackBerry 9670 Gets Caught on Video, OS 6 Along for the Ride [Video]

It was only just a few years ago that, with photos or video of a new, officially unannounced product hitting the Internet, the whole world seemed to go abuzz. Now though, it just feels like it’s second nature, and expected. Take for example the BlackBerry 9670 , the clamshell handset from Research In Motion that hasn’t been officially announced by any means, but that’s shown up so much on the Internet , it might as well be a fully released handset. The BlackBerry 9670 follows in the lineage of the BlackBerry Pearl Flip, as it’s designed like a flip-phone, but still packs in all the traditional BlackBerry features. You’ll find a full QWERTY keyboard, and a screen that’s just big enough to get the job done. The resolution on this one is reportedly 480
