Leaf Tie gives cable management a green look

If you prefer cheap cable management, it tends to involve anything you happen to have around. That usually includes things like twist ties and zip ties, both of which work pretty well. Sure, they aren’t the most attractive thing, but they’re easy to use and hold the cords pretty firmly. Well now you can combine looks with that easy use quality. These zip ties actually have cute little leaves to decorate your chords.
It gives all of your cords the look of being one giant vine. This way you don’t have to hide them quite as much. You could always use these leaves for other things throughout your house and make everything look a bit plant-like. These leaves come in 2 different greens, black, white, blue and red. The packages have 12 ties in each box. These leaves are posted in the store section of the designer site, but you’ll have to contact them to find out availability and pricing.

Star Wars Voices Now Available For Your TomTom GPS Device

By Andrew Liszewski
Move over William Daniels because TomTom has just totally trumped Mio’s Knight Rider GPS device with the announcement that they’ll be offering genuine Star Wars voices for their line of GPS units. This includes Darth Vader, C-3PO, Yoda and even Han Solo. Now I’m not sure if the voices will all be recorded from the original cast, including Harrison Ford, but the promotional video they created with Darth Vader in the recording booth certainly sounds like James Earl Jones to me.
As of today the Darth Vader voice is available for download for $12.95, while C-3PO, Yoda and Han Solo will be made available at intervals throughout the Summer.

Hohrizontal 51 Speaker Shelf iPod Dock

Instead of having an iPod dock and speakers that take up shelf space, you should pick one up that actually creates shelf space. This solid chunk of wood can be hung on your wall to allow your music to play at the perfect height and display all of your favorite books. Oddly it can even handle a small TV on it, since it’s actually strong enough to support quite a bit of weight. That is if you trust your wall to keep the shelf upright.
The shelf can actually handle up to 55lbs, which means you can pack a whole lot of stuff on this shelf. The speakers themselves have a 25WPC amplifier and a frequency range of 50 on up to 25,000Hz. The shelf also has available connectors for a TV, PC and MP3 player. The shelf comes in a whole lot of different finishes, that includes high-gloss solid colors or even matte wood veneer. You can purchase the Hohrizontal 51 shelf for $664.

This Dragonfly Camera Will Take You Back To Your Childhood
Yet another cool product of creativity, the ‘Dragonfly’ Camera, made as an altar for a 9 year old girl that passed away, was designed to study and photograph time segments of children.
This Dragonfly camera by Boy of Blue has the dimensions 4″x5″, is made from Aluminum, Steel, Acrylic, Insects, and other relics. This rectangular box – like black camera has a black colored layered design on it’s front side with it’s lens in the center. The Camera has the text “I see her little red boots everyday. The truth was only witnessed by her and the insects which have long passed away” written along the perimeter of the front side and it has a chain – spring – chain arrangement on it’s either sides which are attached to a common shaft of the back side.

On it’s either side, the dragonfly has got a box which has a little statue of a baby that has a glass covering and is fixed to the main frame using steel rivets. A Dragonfly Design (human body with wings appearing to be a dragonfly) is placed on it’s top. Though this camera doesn’t look like one, but it does click photos of great quality, So go back to your childhood with this “Dragonfly” if you are a crazy art lover!
Here are some of the photos clicked from this Dragonfly Camera:
Trekkies Rejoice: The Enterprise, she flies!
This man here is John Krietzer, not to be confused with John Archer, the captain of the Enterprise from the show Star Trek: Enterprise, for those who didn’t get the reference.
What you are seeing here is a model of the NCC-1701-A, and it can actually fly! I had to see it to beleive it for myself.
Not that I saw it, but I saw this video after the jump, and it doesn’t look like any special effects were used. Granted, I believe the Enterprise can fly without a propeller in back, but this one needs that extra boost that even Scotty couldn’t provide.
I applaud him for managing to get this terrific starship up in the air, and I suppose that he managed to do it with 21st century technology rather than 23rd century.
Yeah, this is the time where all sorts of Star Trek jokes can be made. And believe me, they make several on the video. I suppose that you would be considered a “geek” if you get them. I consider myself a geek because I know that the nacelles are far too big to be an exact model replica of the Starship Enterprise.
